Donald Driver Shows Why He's A Fan Favorite at Charity Event

By Kevin Van Pelt

It is clear that Donald Driver is a fan favorite with the Green Bay Packers‘ fans.

The sellout crowd got to watch 49 of the Green Bay Packers players, including Driver, play a friendly game of softball to help out the Donald Driver Foundation which assists homeless families and disadvantaged youth. The game pitted the offense against the defense and the offense won 22-10 and were led by Aaron Rodgers‘ two home run game.

The official attendance for the game was 8,745 and they were all dressed up in their Packers gear and were electrified to see their favorite players. Most of the fans were excited to see the newly crowned Dancing with the Stars champion Donald Driver, who was at the game with his sister, wife and three kids.

Driver has recently just re-worked his contract to stay with the Packers, which is something that most fans love to hear. He has been a fan favorite for years now and it is nice to see him start and eventually end his career as a Packer.

Driver signed countless autographs and was very interactive with all of the fans. The crowd cheered him along as he made his way through the crowd taking pictures and hugging fans who were all congratulating him on becoming a dance champion and remaining a Packer. Driver loves the fans of Green Bay and it is easy to see why. They are the most dedicated fans in the world and they wear their hearts on their sleeves. Driver does the same thing for this team which makes the two a perfect match for each other.

This is a great experience for the fans and it is all done for a good cause. Driver is one of the good people in the NFL and it is nice to see how much he is appreciated by the fans of Green Bay.
