Vikings Jerome Felton Arrested at McDonalds Drive-Through
Mr. Felton apparently had the late night munchies and decided to make a run to his local McDonalds. The run was a failure, as he was arrested at approximately 3am in the drive-through.
Felton has allegedly been charged with refusing a sobriety test, suspicion of 3rd degree DWI with an aggravating factor of one prior DWI conviction within 10 years, and careless driving. He was booked at Hennepin County Jail at 5:51 a.m Saturday, and released on $12,000 bond.
That’s right folks, Felton was so drunk, that McDonalds wouldn’t serve him.
The Vikings made a statement, that they aren’t making a statement:
“We are aware of the situation and working to gather more information. We’ll have no further comment at this time.”
All kidding aside, I honestly can’t stand when pro athletes or celebrities are arrested for DWI. They have absolutely no excuse to be driving drunk. Call a cab, hire a limo, ask a fan for a ride…I don’t care, just don’t do it.
Sure most times athletes and celebrities are above the law, and they often walk away with just a slap on the wrist, but the bottom line is that it sets a bad example for younger fans.
Normally I’m not one to say, won’t someone think of the children, but rich people arrogantly driving drunk is just plain stupid.
Felton and Blackmon need to hire themselves some personal drivers, and think about growing up.
