Groups looking to by tickets for Buffalo Bills home games for the 2012 season will get their first chance to do so tomorrow.
According to the team’s website group tickets will be going on sale at 9:00 am. Individual game tickets will be going on-sale to the general public Tuesday, July 10. Two of the eight home games (seven of which will be at Ralph Wilson Stadium with one in Toronto) have been already sold out as individual game tickets for the first two home regular season games, Kansas City and New England are sold out.
The team and management should expect a boost in ticket sales this upcoming season as optimism is running high in Buffalo heading into 2012. With the off-season moves that have been made, as well as the team starting strong last season before injuries struck, many believe the team will finally be able to end their league-high 12 year playoff-drought.
The signing of prized free-agent Mario Williams was one huge boost to ticket sales, especially immediately after the move was made.
1,650 new season ticket orders were placed within three days of the Williams signing.
“With the additional signings, it certainly was a huge boost,” Bills CEO Russ Brandon said. “And one of the things that’s really resonated is that people feel the team is headed in the right direction under the guidance of Buddy and Chan. … People seem very pleased that the arrow’s pointed up.”
With the boost in season ticket sales, two home games already sold out, and group tickets ready to be bought, it’s looking like it’s going to be a packed and wild Ralph Wilson Stadium in the fall.
