New York Giants Visit the White House

One of the perks of winning a championship in sports in the USA is that you get to go to the White House and get a tour and meet the president. The New York Giants are no different as today is their chance to meet the leader of the free world and take a tour of the White House.

You’re political views shouldn’t matter when you get a chance to go to the White House. I guess I subscribe to the anti Tim Thomas theory. It’s an honor and a privilege to even get the opportunity. I’m sure the Giants players will all enjoy themselves and take many pictures and want to do the same thing again next June.

This visit is probably more special for head coach Tom Coughlin. Coughlin received the Outstanding Civilian Service Award from the US Army for his work with the NFL-USO Coaches Tour and service to military veterans this past May. The team before the ceremony will visit with members of the Wounded Warriors as well.

This is something that the organization and all the players will remember for the rest of their lives. From the tweets and pictures that the players have put out, it seems like the definitely will.

I’m commenting on behalf of wounded warriors in an effort to help promote and support service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. Many wounded warriors are coming home, getting out of the military and jobs are very limited. Therefore many have decided to start their own businesses in an attempt to survive and support their families. In an effort to help, we have created the Wounded Warrior Directory, the one and only directory dedicated solely to supporting service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses at Great place to find teaming partners or hire a veteran sub contractor. Please help us let others know about these businesses and this cause. Thank you!
