Tennessee Titans Running Back Chris Johnson Says He Is In Same Category As LeBron James
Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans had a season to forget last season. His performance was awful and I know that a lot of fantasy owners regretted picking him for their team. Waste of a first round pick, if you ask me. Anyways, Chris Johnson recently said that Miami Heat forward LeBron James and him are in the same category.
After a disappointing 2011 season, Tennessee Titans running back says that he feels like he can relate to LeBron James after the criticism he’s received.
“I kinda put us in the same category,” Johnson said Tuesday, via NFL.com. “He gets a lot of criticism just like I do. I like how he bounced back the year after he got a lot of criticism. Came back, got MVP and hopefully can get his team a championship.
“He just gives me motivation to bounce back for this year, seeing the things that he came back and did, proving the naysayers wrong. I kind of look at him as a guy like me.
Well, Chris Johnson may get as much criticism as King James but it is for completely different reasons. LeBron was criticized for not coming through in the clutch, which can easily be debated. Johnson was ripped for holding out for more money and then performing at subpar levels. Not exactly the same level there, man.
Chris Johnson better hope that he has a bounce back season. Running backs are a dime a dozen these days. If you keep slipping up, someone will take your spot.
