Colts Having Limited Number of Pre-Season Tickets on Sale
The Indianapolis Colts have been losing out on selling tickets ever since their disastrous season without quarterback Peyton Manning last year. They aren’t going to sell that much this year, even with Andrew Luck in, as the team will obviously struggle for the upcoming season.
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Colts will have a “limited number” of single pre-season game tickets for Monday and Tuesday. Season ticket-holders will get their first chance at them at 10 AM local time Monday and then the same time the next day on Tuesday.
I guess it does help sell tickets, but then again, it’s still a pre-season game. I mean, heck, no one wants to watch a game as boring as that. The owners should just pay the fans to watch it.
We’ll see how much success owner Jim Irsay gets out of this.
