Indianapolis Colts Agree To Deal With Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck was the first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.  Like most first picks, Luck took his sweet time signing with the Indianapolis Colts but he finally agreed to his first pro contract with the team on Thursday afternoon.

Andrew Luck will be expected to come in and show some good signs his rookie season.  The Colts are going to be bad any way you slice it.  They just do not have a lot of talent on the roster at this current time.  In a couple years, they should be pretty decent but it will take some for all of that to work.

Luck is a special talent.  He has a great pedigree and should be the perfect guy to help lead the Colts back to prominence.  If he gets surrounded by good offensive talent, he is going to be a star in the league for years to come.  The process may take a bit but it will be worth it when it finally ends.

I want to see Luck improve a bit each game.  That is all you can ask out of a rookie.  He does not need to set the world on fire but a game by game improvement is not too much to ask.  As long as he is progressing through reads and not making too many mistakes, the Colts can live with losses.  It is all about building to the future.

The future starts now in Indy.  It will be a fun ride to watch.
