Titans Agree with Safety Aaron Francisco
He’s got the experience that the Tennessee Titans like, and that’s six years under his belt. Aaron Francisco stands 6-foot-2 and 207 pounds. Francisco started in the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2005 when he was signed by the Arizona Cardinals.
He has played a total of four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and 53 games. He had 59 tackles and played in Super Bowl XLIII. Francisco also played a few years with the Indianapolis Colts. His total NFL experience totals to 75 games, with 23 starts and 131 tackles and four interceptions.
The Detroit Lions waived him after training camp last year just before the season started.
To me he’s going to be the second best safety on the team, the Titans still have Michael Griffin and they aren’t going to show any signs of not playing him, not with the season he had last year, two interceptions and 96 tackles in sixteen games last season. I really like where his mind set is and I truly think that he is able to increase production on the field every year. Griffin is still young, but has six years of experience under his belt, and mind you is consistently healthy. There hasn’t been a game in which he sat out due to injury. It’s going to be another great year for him.
Football season is just around the corner and all these loose ends are starting to tie together. I’m really excited for the Titans to start training camp and they are just days away.
