The Chicago Bears are the middle of training came and we don’t know who will all make the 53 man roster. However, I decided to have an early prediction of the 53-man roster. I will have another prediction when preseason concludes and when we have a better idea of who will make the 53-man roster. Here’s my early stages of the 53-man roster:
QBs: Jay Cutler, Jason Campbell, Josh McCown: The Bears will actually go with 3 QBs this year, unlike years in the pass. The Bears want as much depth as possible and all 3 QBs can put up nice stats.
RBs: Matt Forte, Michael Bush, Kahlil Bell. Tyler Clutts: These are the 3 most likely RBs to make the roster, but if Bell can’t hold onto the ball, Don’t be surprise if he does not make the roster and Armando Allen or Harvey Unga. I there is a good chance the Bears will have a FB on their roster this year.
WRs: Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Earl Bennett, Devin Hester, Eric Weems, Devin Thomas: The first 5 guys will make the team, but Thomas may be on the border. Many people would rather have Dane Sanzenbacher. So, preseason will be a big indicator.
TEs: Kellen Davis, Matt Spaeth, Evan Rodriguez, Kyle Adams: I do think there’s a great chance the Bears will go with 4 TEs. Rodriguez and Adams have impressed thus far.
OLs: Roberto Garza, Gabe Carimi, Chris Spencer, Chris Williams, J’Marcus Webb, James Brown, Lance Louis, Chilo Rachal, Edwin Williams: Yes, I do know the offense line still does not look good on paper. There’s not much competition, but there will be some for the remaining spots.
DLs: Julius Peppers, Shea McClellin, Matt Toeaina, Corey Wootton, Stephen Paea, Chauncey Davis, Brian Price, Henry Melton: DL is the hardest position to figure out who will make the team by far. There will be a lot of competition going forward.
LBs: Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs, Nick Roach, Blake Constanzo, Geno Hayes, J.T. Thomas: LB has been one of the best strengths for every season. Manly because of Urlacher and Briggs, but the back-ups haven’t been bad either.
CBs: Charles Tillman, Tim Jennings, DJ Moore, Kelvin Hayden, Johnathon Wilhite: Not much of a change from last year besides Bowman for Hayden. I didn’t really like Bowman, so I’ll be fine with Hayden. Also, adding Wilhite to the mix too.
S: Major Wright, Craig Steltz, Chris Conte, Brandon Hardin: I think safety is pretty obvious and I do expect these 4 to make the team.
ST: K Robbie Gould, P Adam Podlesh, LS Patrick Mannelly: Well, this is way too obvious and self explanatory.
Well here’s my 53-man roster of the Chicago Bears: Obvious these will chance and not be correct. As injuries do occur and players who are suppose to make the team just flat out fail.
