The New York Giants Training Camp Report
The New York Giants are in full swing up in Albany, New York. The defending Super Bowl Champions are trying to become a dynasty. They are a very calm group and organization. They know that in the other locker room for the other New York team there is a circus. The Giants like being the underdog and being shown no respect. The Giants still have their franchise quarterback and a great defense to go with it. I would say they are one of the top teams in the league.
I believe the Giants will have a better regular season and win 12 or 13 games. If they do that they will be the number one seed heading into the playoffs.
The Giants have Ahmad Bradshaw as their primary running back at this time. They don’t really have a backup but someone might step up and take that role instead of them having to look outside the organization. The Giants receivers seem to be pretty good but it is their defense which separates them. The Giants have a group that can rush the passer and do it well. They have a pretty good secondary now also. The Giants just need to stay healthy and they should win a lot of games.
The pre season schedule will begin on August 10th when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars down in Jackonsonville. The second one will be against the New York Jets and that will be on August 18th at 7:00PM. The Giants will close out their preseason schedule with the Chicago Bears and then the New England Patriots. The dates are 8/24 and 8/29/2012. The Chicago game is on at 8:00PM and the Patrios is at 7:30PM. The Giants will open up against Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.
