2012 NFL Predictions: Predicting This Season’s Wildcard, Division Winners, Conference Champs and Super Bowl Winner
The 2012 NFL season is upon us and Wednesday we will see the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants take on its long-time division rival Dallas Cowboys. This season we will see a number of things: the Andrew Luck era for the Indianapolis Colts, the return of Peyton Manning with the Denver Broncos and the Tim Tebow frenzy that swirling around the New York Jets. Those storylines are just a precursor to what we will see this season.
With all that being said, let’s play the best game to play at the start of season is predicting the playoff contenders and the eventual Super Bowl champion. Here is my prediction for the 2012 NFL season:
2012 NFL Wildcard Playoffs
Bengals over Titans
Texans over Chiefs
Bears over Falcons
Giants over Panthers
2012 NFL Divisional Playoffs
Patriots over Bengals
Ravens over Texans
49ers over Bears
Packers over Giants
2012 Conference Championship
Patriots over Ravens
Packers over 49ers
Super Bowl XLVII
Packers over Patriots
It will be a tough road for the Green Bay Packers but I think that they will redeem themselves after falling to the New York Giants in last year’s playoffs. The Packers are pretty solid on the offensive and defensive end and it looks like they will be prime candidates to win the Super Bowl this year.
Think I’m wrong? Tell who you think will win the Super Bowl or any division or conference.
