Who’s ready for some football? The time is finally here as the Chicago Bears will kick off the 2012 season at Soldier Field vs. the Indianapolis Colts. I can tell you that I’m pumped. If you can not wait until Sunday, there is a football game on tomorrow … the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants will kick of the 2012 season. Before the 1st game all together and the Bears 1st game of the season, I decided to have predictions for the 2012 season for your Chicago Bears:
QB Jay Cutler: 3300 yards, 35 touchdowns, 11 interceptions
RB Matt Forte: 967 yards, 12 touchdowns, 2 fumbles
RB Michael Bush: 720 yards, 9 touchdowns, 2 fumbles
WR Brandon Marshall: 1300 yards, 14 touchdowns, 1 fumble
WR Devin Hester: 770 yards, 6 touchdowns, 2 fumbles
WR Earl Bennett: 550 yards, 6 touchdowns, 1 fumble
WR Alshon Jeffery: 500 yards. 6 touchdowns, 0 fumbles
TE Kellen Davis: 340 yards, 4 touchdowns, 1 fumble
Offensive Line: 48 sacks allowed this season
Defensive Line: 32 sacks on the season
Linebackers: 8 sacks on the season and touch D once again
Defensive backs: 16 interceptions and 22 fumbles forced on the season
Punting: Inside the 20 26 times and 22 touch-backs
Robbie Gould: 30 out of 33 chances made on field goals attempt and 25 touch-backs
Punt/Kick returning: 6 touchdowns and 30 yards on average per returns
Those are my predictions for the upcoming season of the players who are expected make an impact. I do think this year’s Bears team will be better than the one in 2006 that made the Super Bowl. I think it has to go all way back to the ’85 Bears. Of course, if everyone stays healthy and plays to expectations.
Now let’s get ready for some football!
