Less than an hour from now the kick off to the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots game will happen. The official start to both team’s seasons in Nashville. It would help the Titans greatly against the Patriots offense to have a fully healthy team, but that just isn’t possible. Check out the inactive players for the Tennessee Titans vs New England Patriots game.
Running back Javon Ringer was inactive last year for the Titans at this exact time, he began to experience elbow soreness after practicing all week and the team has chosen to sit him out as a precaution.
Quarterback Rusty Smith, runlinebacker Zac Diles, tackle Mike Otto, tackle Byron Stingily, defensive end Pannel Egboh and defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks will all also be sitting today.
2012 NFL draft pick Mike Martin will be taking Marks’ spot at defensive tackle. Wide receiver Kendall Wright will be taking the spot of suspended Kenny Britt.
Players sitting for the Patriots include, running back Shane Vereen, defensive back Alfonzo Dennard, offensive lineman Nick McDonald, tight end Daniel Fells, defensive end Jake Bequette, defensive end Justin Francis and defensive lineman Marcus Forston.
Both teams still have plenty of weapons to use, it is going to be a show down of whos offense is better. The Titans will have to strongly bank on their special teams if they can’t get into the redzone as much as they would like. Tom Brady is going to give Nashville quite the show today. But don’t assume the Titans haven’t been preparing. Kickoff is at noon central time.
