Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson Should be Able to Play Sunday
Many fans of the Detroit Lions had a lump in their throat when they heard the news that WR extraordinaire Calvin Johnson missed practice on Wednesday.
Johnson reportedly missed practice due to a foot injury of some sort. This came to be surprising news for many people that follow the Lions because it did not appear as though the WR suffered an injury in Detroit’s 27-23 win over the St. Louis Rams.
The proverbial “Madden Cover Jinx” rumors leaked all over the Internet and in the media, but now all of that injury talk looks to be overblown. Let Detroit fans relax and cool their conscience as it appears that “Megatron” is on pace to play this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
Johnson was a full participant in Detroit’s practice on Thursday and looks to be good to go for this Sunday night’s NFL game against the 49ers.
