Charles Woodson Calls Out Jay Cutler After Packers Stomp Bears

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

Charles Woodson is one of the best cornerbacks in the history of football. This season, he is playing safety for the Green Bay Packers, a team that struggled in Week 1. However, playing the Chicago Bears righted the ship for the team and it led to some great words from Woodson on Bears QB Jay Cutler after the game.

Remember, Cutler was running his mouth after a Week 1 win and famously wished the Packers secondary “good luck” with the Bears skill players.  Well, four interceptions later, I think Cutler needs a dose of humble pie.  And by dose, I mean he needs about five pounds of it.

If you watched this game, you saw exactly why Jay Cutler will never be a top five quarterback.  He simply makes the dumbest decisions at the dumbest possible motions.  His internal clock is absolutely awful, as it led to him getting sacked seven times.  The Bears o-line did nothing to help, but sometimes you have to throw the ball away.

As for the Packers, the defense came in angry and they played like it.  They attacked the Bears on all fronts and held them under 200 yards of total offense.  That is a great way to show people that you still have some skill on that side of the ball.

The Bears are going to have to dig deep if they want to win the NFC North.  Good luck, Jay.
