5 Players The Chicago Bears Need To Win In Week 3

1 of 6

Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears looked like a super bowl contender in week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts. In Week 2, they got abused and punched in the mouth by the powerhouse Green Bay Packers. If the Bears are going to win, they'll need these 5 guys to step their game up. If these 5 do? I believe we'll see a major Bears victory in week 3.

#5: Tim Jennings

Tim Jennings
Charles Tillman is still the man for the Bears secondary. However, it's going to be Tim Jennings who gets picked on early and often. You look at Jennings height, and wouldn't think he can defend the way he does, but Jennings is going to be a lock down guy this weekend, and I believe he'll have at least 1 pick.

#4: Earl Bennett

Earl Bennett
Bennett hasn't been used as much so far in 2012 and I believe Jay Cutler will want to utilize him. They've developed a little bit of chemistry and the more he uses Bennett, the more defenses will want to stop keying on Brandon Marshall. I expect Bennett to find the end zone this week, and face several targets as the Bears try and pick up their game offensively.

#3: J'Marcus Webb

J'Marcus Webb
I believe J'Marcus Webb knows his job is on the line. The Bears spent a lot of time, energy, money, and draft picks on Jay Cutler which means they'll protect his blind side at all costs. Webb has shown flashes of greatness, but other times? He just looks like he'd rather be eating taco bell. It's time for Webb to step up and earn the trust of QB. Which is why I believe we'll see the Webb the Bears believe can be the focal point of the entire offensive line.

#2: Israel Idonije

 Israel Idonije
Israel Idonije is going to have a big game this week. The focus is going to be on Julius Peppers (as usual), which is going to allow Indonije to face a lot of single blocks. I expect him to pressure Sam Bradford early and often.

#1: Jay Cutler

Jay Cutler
I believe Jay Cutler is going to come back and have a big game for the Chicago Bears. For as much flack as he's taken over the last week, I believe he's going to hit the film hard and re-dedicate himself to this team. Jay Cutler IS a leader in the locker room, and even though his shove on a teammate is wrong, demanding they play better is not. Let's see if I'm right on Cutler's best day. After all, I'm betting my fantasy team on it!
