Returning home from last week’s loss against the San Diego Chargers will hopefully give the Tennessee Titans some new life. But a healthy team wouldn’t be a bad idea either. The game status of many injured players will not be final until Saturday night, possibly even Sunday morning; however there have been steps in the right direction for the Titans injuries.
Rookie linebacker Zach Brown has been in full practice the last two days despite a knee injury. Guard and center Leroy Harris did not play yesterday, however jumped right in today. Mike Martin (foot) and Sen’Derrick Marks (Knee) were both also fully dressed and giving it their all on the field.
Mike Otto and Javon Ringer both suited up and they are looking good for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. Steve Hutchinson sat today, non-injury related. He was also given one day off last week.
Having a healthy team is going to be key to defeating the Lions. With Matthew Stafford close to 600 yards on the season, you would think that he’s in line to have a great year. He also has four interceptions and only two touchdown passes. The Titans offense is going to need to buff up and really dig into the line.
Having Marks back in the lineup is going to be huge, especially considering that head coach Mike Munchak thought he would be back for the beginning of the season. Zach Brown is a huge pick up for the Titans and provides a lot of young strength to the defense that will come in handy.
