The offensive line of the Seattle Seahawks has to be out in force on Monday in order to protect their rookie quarterback as they come up against the Green Bay Packers.

Seattle is coming off of an impressive win last week but the line has struggled to far this season to protect the quarterback and give him the necessary time to make the smart throw.

The Seahawks will be coming up against one of the best defenders in the league at getting to the quarterback in Clay Matthews. So far in two games this season, Matthews has already recording six sacks on the season and will be looking to push around the Seahawks offensive line

A key to being able to win this game is shouting out Matthews and keeping him out of the backfield as much as possible. The line and the running backs will have to focus on Matthews in order to keep him off of quarterback Russell Wilson.

Wilson will also have to be aware of Matthews’ presence and know when to throw the ball to his hot route or tuck the ball in and run

This will be a very tough challenge for the Seahawks as they are put on the Monday night stage against one of the best teams in the league. If Seattle is going to move the ball on offense and score points, stopping Matthews will be one of the most important tasks along with one of the most difficult to accomplish
