On one of the biggest stages, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Green Bay Packers on Monday night football after one of the biggest controversial calls made by the replacement refs.

On a last try hail marry pass, Seahawks receiver Golden Tate pushed off a Green Bay defender and came down with another Packer who clearly intercepted the ball but instead of calling it Packers ball, the replacement ref ruled it a touchdown.

Seattle would go on to win the game 14-12 based on a call that should never have been made and Green Bay is stuck with a loss.

The game was close throughout the night and the Packers finally moved on top and deserved a big win on the road but instead were cheated out of it, which could affect them in a big way.

Every game in the NFL has a huge impact on the post season and with Green Bay forced into losing this game who knows what that could mean come December in a tough division like the NFC North.

Since the start of the 2012 NFL season people have voiced their opinion that everyone needs the regular refs back but this is one of the biggest mistakes made by this group of replacements and the need for the regular guys is bigger than ever.

With these new guys who are inexperienced and incapable of making the correct call in these clutch moments teams that deserve wins are receiving loses and the integrity of the game is being forgotten.

This entire football season is being altered not by the players making the big plays but by the refs making the wrong calls.
