Top Ten Seattle Seahawks For 2012
Top Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are a young team entering the 2012 NFL season and will be looking at their top players to lead the team ahead of the competition. With many young guys at key positions on both sides of the ball, Seattle will have to rely on the veterans to lead as well as the rookie to come out strong early. The Seahawks have two big rookies on offense and one on defense that will have to jump right in to benefit the team.
Russell Wilson is the main rookie that everyone will be looking at to lead the team and succeed above everyone else. Rookie running back Robert Turbin will have a small role with big impact as he backs up Marshawn Lynch to help the running game throughout the year.
With a rookie quarterback under center, the receivers have to be able to make the correct routes and help the rookie develop chemistry with the receiving core. It will be up to players like Sidney Rice and Golden Tate to work throughout the season on developing this relationship with Wilson.
On defense, rookie linebacker Bobby Wagner needs to step up and create a big presence in the middle of the defense while Chris Clemons continues to be a stopping force on the opponents run game.
With so many young players on this Seahawks team, each player will have to be at top performance to make up for the lack of experience in order for Seattle to have a successful season and possibly reach the post season. Here are the top ten players that need to perform well on the Seahawks in order to get into the post season.
Brandon Browner

Brandon Browner is an important part of the defense and needs to close out the receivers on the outside. This young defense needs Browner to help control the ball and stop the opposing team from moving the ball down the field on big gains.
Russell Wilson

At the quarterback position it is a necessity to play at a high level in order to get the offense going and take the team to the playoffs. As a rookie Russell Wilson needs to adapt to the role quickly and get comfortable with his team.
Marshawn Lynch

Marshawn Lynch is the biggest key for the Seahawks. Lynch needs to be a strong asset week in and week out to allow the offense to put up points and keep the defense off the field. With a young quarterback, Lynch has to be the main guy on offense.
