NFL Injury Report Week 4

Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE

With the NFL season almost 25% completed, the injuries are beginning to pile up across the league. It’s a tough, physical game, and these things are bound to happen. During play last week, there were some pretty significant injuries that occurred to some big name players, and here is a list of the ones that hurt a lot.

New York Jets all-world cornerback Darrelle Revis will miss the remainder of the season after tearing an ACL in his knee versus the Miami Dolphins. This is without doubt the biggest injury news which has taken place all season, as Revis is easily the Jets best player and may already be the greatest player in franchise history.

Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller sprained the AC joint in his shoulder versus the Cleveland Browns and will be forced to miss at the least this week’s game versus the New England Patriots.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie suffered a ruptured patella tendon versus the Jacksonville Jaguars and will now miss the remainder of the season.

Oakland Raiders wideout Darrius Heyward-Bey will miss this week’s game versus the Denver Broncos due to a concussion and neck injury that he suffered after a violent helmet-to-helmet collision in the Raiders win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end, Adrian Clayborn, will miss the remainder of the season after tearing a knee ligament versus the Dallas Cowboys.

Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Daryl Smith will miss at least one game with a groin injury that he suffered last week versus the Indianapolis Colts.

Tennessee Titans defensive end, Keyunta Dawson, will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an undisclosed hamstring injury versus the Detroit Lions last week.

Brandon Marshall Tells Rich Eisen He Hasn't Spoken To Jay Cutler

During a recent appearance on ' The Rich Eisen Show', former Chicago Bears and current New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall was asked about his relationship with his old quarterback, Jay Cutler. Marshall, who has zero chill, replied that he had not spoken to Cutler in "two years." Naturally, Eisen was shocked and mentioned that they were teammates just a season ago. Marshall essentially confirmed that they were not talking off the field during his last year in Chicago, but ultimately wished Cutler well.
