A highly anticipated Week 4 match-up is set to square off Monday night as the New York Giants are on the road to face off against their division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams are 2-1 and battling for position in the NFC East, so this will be a very exciting and important game for both teams and will come down to turnovers.

The Eagles’ first three games weren’t very impressive at all. They won two out of those three, but neither were pretty as Philly only beat the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens by one point each. The third game was a horrible loss to the Arizona Cardinals, a game in which there were very few positives for the Eagles.

This week Michael Vick better be ready to get hit several times going up against that tough Giants defensive line. Vick has to make smart decisions when under pressure, or else he is going to go down with yet another injury. If you’re an Eagles fan, you are probably cringing a bit at the scary thought of Vick going up against players that include Jason Pierre-Paul and Justin Tuck.

If the Eagles want to win this game, they have to limit the turnovers and, as we all know, Vick is the main turnover machine. In just three games this year, Vick has already thrown six interceptions, so he and the Eagles have to make smart decisions against the Giants.

The Eagles’ offense has to be at its best. Everyone has to be on their “A” game. The Eagles have to establish the run game early with LeSean McCoy and get the passing game going as well throughout the entire contest.

New York has been much more impressive than Philadelphia through three games. The Giants’ offense and defense have been on fire. They have to get to Vick to win this game. If they get pressure on him, they will force Vick to make bad decisions.

The Giants also have to get their passing game going on offense. With a quarterback like Eli Manning and an incredible receiving corps, New York should be able to get it done, but if Philadelphia’s defense is on its game, then it will be tough for the Giants to win.

I have the Giants defeating the Eagles. The Giants’ roster is full of talent, they have a great quarterback, a scary good defensive line and some awesome receivers. I think the Giants are just too good for the Eagles.
