Pittsburgh Steelers LaMarr Woodley to be on “South Park”
LaMarr Woodley is “goin’ down to South Park.”
The Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker recently announced via Twitter that he will be appearing on an upcoming episode of this season’s “South Park.” It will be the 17th for this Comedy Central controversial smash hit.
“Guess who’s gonna be on @southpark this season???” is how Woodley told his fans through his Twitter account. The announcement was complete with a picture (shown above) of his “South Park” likeness surrounded by the show’s stars, Kenny, Cartman, Stan, and Kyle, which is now his Twitter profile pic.
Woodley also told ESPN Playbook that “I’ve been a fan of ‘South Park’ ever since I was a kid, so it’ll be pretty cool to watch it and see a little cartoon version of myself.”
There is no word as to when Woodley’s episode will be broadcast nor what the storyline is, but “South Park” and Steelers fans alike can only hope it has something to do with killing Kenny (and from the looks of the graphic, it will likely have something to do with football, of course). But let’s all hope his cameo plays better than the Steelers have been these past few weeks.
The Steelers have a “bye” this week and will play again the following Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock at home when they face the Philadelphia Eagles at Heinz Field. They will go into that game with a 1-2 record placing them third in the AFC North.
