Cincinnati Bengals vs Jacksonville Jaguars Live Tweet Happening Now
Aaaaand we are underway from Everbank Stadium in Jacksonville!
The Cincinnati Bengals face a potential trap game this afternoon against a Jacksonville Jaguars squad that Who Dey Nation should not underestimate. It could be a frustrating, grind-it-out affair for the orange and black, but I will live-tweeting all game long, helping my Bengal fanatics cope with the highs and the lows.
Many pundits say the major battle will be between the Bengals’ defensive line and Jags RB Maurice Jones-Drew, but Cincinnati’s ailing secondary and a surprisingly tame Jacksonville aerial attack could set the stage for a close offensive showcase.
Here’s my advice for Cincy fans just coming back from church or brunch, head on over to my game preview to find out which key match-ups you should look for then hit the Rant Sports Cincy feed: @RantSportsCincy. From there, you can kick back and let me serenade you with a dulcet flow of stats and in-game analysis.
Sound intimate? It sure is. I’ll bring the white zinfandel if you bring the smoked gouda cubes.
[UPDATE: Currently, the Bengals lead the Jags 3-0 in the opening moments of the first quarter following a successful field goal from kicker, Mike Nugent.]
[UPDATE: Blaine Gabbert and the Jacksonville offense come right back, driving deep into Bengal territory as the waning seconds of the 1st quarter comes to a close.]
[UPDATE: Touchdown: Jaguars. Blaine Gabbert uses MJD to set up a play-action floater to TE Marcedes Lewis. Jags take the lead 7-3 in the 2nd.]
Okay, no more updates. Race you to Twitter!
