Patriots vs. Bill Week 4 Inactives
- David Butler II-US PRESSWIRE
After hurting his hip in practice and listed as questionable coming into Week 4, tight end Rob Gronkowski (hip) will play for the New England Patriots. The hips can restrict a lot of lateral movement, so how he plays out the gate will set up the game plan for the team for the rest of the game. But Erik Scalavino of Patriots.com said Gronk was looking good in pre-game warmups.

Earlier in the week receivers Julian Edelman (hand) and Aaron Hernandez (knee) were announced as out. Other inactive’s will be:
- G Logan Mankins (hip)
- OL Matt Tennant (signed yesterday)
- CB Alfonzo Denard
- DL Brandon Deaderick
- DE Justin Francis.
Running back Shane Vereen will be active for the first time all year, so it’ll be interesting to see what kind of role he plays for the team today. With Edelman and Hernandez out of the game, how the Patriots use their receivers will be something to watch. Expect Deion Branch to play more in place of Edelman and b to get some playing time in place of Hernandez in the wake of the Kellen Winslow jr. release.
On the other side, as expected, running backs C.J. Spiller (shoulder) and Fred Jackson (knee), who is playing with a knee brace, are active after speculation that they may miss the game. It is reported they are returning from their injuries a week early, so what Here are the other Buffalo Bills inactive’s for Week 4:
- QB Tarvaris Jackson
- WR Ruvell Martin
- S Delano Howell
- DE Kyle Moore
- LB Kirk Morrison
- OT Sam Young
- C Colin Brown
