NFL Power Rankings: The Arizona Cardinals are too low

Arizona Cardinals huddle

After a week 4 win against the Miami Dolphins, the Arizona Cardinals stayed at number 5 in the NFL Power Rankings. This number is not good enough for Cardinals fans. Plain and simple the Cardinals have beaten teams that should allow them to be in the top three in the league. No respect. Cardinals fans should be mad. The time for patience is over.  It’s time for the “birdgang” to get louder and be proud of their team in the desert.

Fans from around the league are saying their victories were flukes. They say they have no offense and their defense has too many holes, but folks winning is not done on the stat sheet, although it helps, winning is done on the scoreboard. The Cardinals have won their scoreboard battle 4 times and in that category they are tied for first. They are even behind the second place team in their own division.  The NFL should be embarrassed by how little coverage they give the Cardinals.

There is some favoritism going on in the NFL right now. The New England Patriots, with 2 losses, are still ranked at number 6 in the league. “Respect is not given, it is earned.” The Cardinals have to fight harder than any other team in the top 10 in the rankings. Their victories have been tough. People will say the Cardinals opponents played down to their level. This may be true, but truly great teams make everyone else play their game. They have made every team this season play their game. The Cardinals game is winning.
