Yesterday the Buffalo Bills announced reserve guard/center and after hurting his hamstring in the game versus the San Francisco 49ers, Colin Brown (photoed above, #74) was placed on season ending Injured Reserve. Replacing him on the team is veteran offensive lineman Reggie Wells. (photoed below)

Colin played in place of injured right guard Kraig Urbik on Sunday. Reggie is a 31 year old, ten year veteran who has played 117 games and  started in 91.Reggie has played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers.

I personally don’t mind this signing, since we lost a lineman for the year, and we need at least someone to plug in the hole until Kraig can return as the starting right guard, and Reggie has solid experience behind him, and you can’t teach that. He played in Superbowl XLIII versus the Pittsburgh Steelers in a losing effort with Arizona.

The Bills should benefit if he is in the starting lineup, then again the weakness for the team this year has not been the offensive line, if anything that’s been our strength, despite losing 45-3 this past weekend Ryan Fitzpatrick was only sacked once by an extremely aggressive San Francisco defense.

This is just my take, what do you think about this news by the Buffalo Bills?
