Rams Wideout Danny Amendola Heads Week 6's NFL Injury Report

During the play in week five of the NFL there where many significant injuries which took place across the league leaving several teams searching for answers and replacements for the crucial players. Unfortunately injuries are a part of the NFL just asĀ  equipment and uniforms are and these things happen each and every week.

Here is the major injury news for the week that was in the NFL:

The Pittsburgh Steelers were dealt two major losses in one game when the defeated their in-state rival Philadelphia Eagles last week as both LaMarr Woodley and Troy Polamalu left due to injury. Woodley left in third quarter due to a hamstring injury and Polamalu left early on due to his reoccurring right calf injury. Both will miss the Steelers Thursday Night versus the Tennessee Titans.

The 5-0 Houston Texans will have to play the remainder of the season without their star linebacker Brian Cushing who tore the ACL in his left knee Monday night versus the New York Jets.

The Green Bay Packers just seemed to get their rushing attack on track and now starting running back Cedric Benson will be sidelined a minimum of eight weeks (could possibly miss the remainder of the season) with a LisFranc injury that he suffered versus the Indianapolis Colts.

The Chicago Bears will be without the services of rookie wide receiver Alshon Jeffery for at least four to six weeks who fractured a bone in his right hand in the Bears win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The St. Louis Rams lead wide receiver Danny Amendola suffered a dislocated clavicle in the Rams’ Thursday Night victory over the previously unbeaten Arizona Cardinals. Amendola will be sidelined six to eight weeks due to the injury.

Tennessee Titans running back Javon Ringer suffered a sprain to the MCL in his left knee during the Titans blowout loss to the Minnesota Vikings and will miss approximately four to six weeks.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel suffered a concussion in the Chiefs 9-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Cassel is doubtful for Kansas City’s game this week versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, if he can’t go then Brady Quinn will fill in behind center.

Cardinals running back Ryan Williams suffered a serve undisclosed shoulder injury in the Cards first loss of the season to the Rams and has been placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the year.

Brandon Marshall Tells Rich Eisen He Hasn't Spoken To Jay Cutler

During a recent appearance on ' The Rich Eisen Show', former Chicago Bears and current New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall was asked about his relationship with his old quarterback, Jay Cutler. Marshall, who has zero chill, replied that he had not spoken to Cutler in "two years." Naturally, Eisen was shocked and mentioned that they were teammates just a season ago. Marshall essentially confirmed that they were not talking off the field during his last year in Chicago, but ultimately wished Cutler well.
