Week 5 NFL Fines: New York Jets OG Matt Slauson, Green Bay Packers LB Nick Perry Among Penalize

The NFL has sent letters to several players around the league regarding their illegal actions from their week 5 game performance.

New York Jets OG Matt Slauson was fined $10,000 for his illegal block on Houton Texans LB Brian Cushing, which ended his season.

St. Louis Rams DE Robert Quinn was fined $15,750 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Arizona Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb.

Tennessee Titans Safety Michael Griffin was fined $21,000 for unnecessary roughness on Minnesota Vikings WR Michael Jenkins.

Green Bay Packers LB Nick Perry was fined $15,000 for his hit on Indianapolis Colts rookie QB Andrew Luck.

Seattle Seahawks DE Chris Clemons was fined $15,750 for roughing the passer against Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton.

Arizona Cardinals  WR Larry Fitzgerald was fined $7,875 for grabbing the facemask of St. Louis Rams  CB Janoris Jenkins.

St. Louis Rams DT Jermelle Cudjo was fined $7,875 for roughing the passer against  Arizona Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb.

San Diego Chargers rookie LB Melvin Ingram was fined $15,750 for roughing against New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees.

Indianapolis Colts  DL Corey Redding was fined $7,875 for unnecessary striking the helmet of Green Bay Packers  RB Cedric Benson.
