It’s week six in the NFL and another position battle between rookie cornerback Stephon Gilmore (pictured above with the ball in his hands) of the Buffalo Bills and elite Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (pictured below).

Stephon Gilmore has struggled this season, then again he’s a rookie so I cut him a little bit of slack, but not too much, however if  he decides to help his cause on Sunday and play well against Larry Fitzgerald I think at least part of the current stress fans are under will lessen. Stephon has nineteen total tackles and eight pass deflections, fairly decent but he has been burned for a few touchdowns along the way against lesser wide receivers.

Larry Fitzgerald is in the top three of  wide receivers in the NFL, as he seemingly catches everything under the sun and he has since  he was drafted back in 2004 with the third overall pick. This season he has 30 catches for 337 yards and two touchdown receptions, he’s big, he’s physical, and he’s deceptively fast for a stereotypical possession wide receiver.

Let’s go to the tale of the tape between Stephon Gilmore and Larry Fitzgerald:

Once again, thank you for reading my articles, and as always I encourage discussion about this, or anything on your mind football related. The two best ways of doing so is leaving a comment on here or hitting me up on twitter @TheProfessorSD. Have a great day!
