Week 6 Patriots v. Seahawks Injury Report

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

With the New England Patriots (3-2) at Seattle Seahawks (3-2) game only an hour and a half away, both teams have released the injury report. Here is a list of players who are inactive and won’t participate in today’s game.

New England Patriots

DE Jake Bequette
C/G Matt Tennant
TE Michael Hoomanawanui
S Steve Gregory
LB Tracy White
WR Julian Edelman
LB Dont’a Hightower

As expected, tight-end Aaron Hernandez (leg) will play in today’s game. If you are a fantasy football owner, then you may want to beware of playing him as the team plans on gradually getting him back into the flow of things.  Rookie linebacker Hightower is expected to miss his second straight week due to hamstring issues and his backup White is out with a foot injury. Rookie safety Tavon Wilson is also expected to get his second start of his career as Gregory is still out.

Seattle Seahawks

WR Charly Martin
SS Winston Guy
CB Danny Gorrer
CB Jeremy Lane
DT Clinton McDonald
G John Moffitt
DT Jaye Howard

The inactives that are absent from the Patriots will obviously affect the team more than it will the Seahawks as a few key players are missing. The number one offense in the league (NE) will be taking on the number one defense in the league (SEA), so this will be an interesting matchup. Currently the Patriots are 0-1 against the NFC West with a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. As for the Seahawks, this will be their first game against an AFC East opponent this season.
