Derrick Morgan is this week’s Public Enemy #1
Tennessee Titans defensive end Derrick Morgan (pictured above #91) is this week’s Public Enemy #1 against the Buffalo Bills, because he is a physical defender with a solid motor. So far this season he has had only two sacks, seventeen tackles and a pass deflection. With that being said, lately the Buffalo Bills have made some mediocre players look like all-pros.
While that all doesn’t sound like much for a former first round pick out of Georgia Tech, but he does pressure a quarterback early and often which can lead to turnovers and we know how turnovers can impact a game especially here in Buffalo, just watch this past Sunday’s game again.
That being said, I have full faith in current starting left tackle, Chris Hairston to neutralize him at all costs and open up the offense for the run, since the Titans are currently ranked 24th against the run which in turn should provide lanes for running backs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson.
Also if Chris Hairston neutralizes Derrick Morgan, it will allow Ryan Fitzpatrick with Stevie Johnson and Scott Chandler to help pick apart the 30th ranked passing defense whom has only had four interceptions and gave up 1,754 yards through the air this season.
