Lance Moore Participates Fully In Practice; Should Be Ready For Sunday
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lance Moore fully participated in practice this week and should be ready for the Saints’ week seven matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Moore sustained a hamstring injury a couple weeks ago that caused him to miss the Saints 31-24 victory over the San Diego Chargers back in week five.
Moore will be ready to square off against the Buccaneers secondary and could have a big game. The Saints are coming off of their bye week and Moore will be nice and rested heading into the week seven contest. Furthermore, quarterback Drew Brees loves throwing the ball to Moore and the two will more than likely connect quite often.
For the season Moore has hauled in 19 catches for 287 yards and two touchdowns. Moore has been one of the more consistent receivers for the Saints and he should continue that consistency against the Buccaneers. Now that Moore is healthy he can help the Saints earn their second win of the season as they attempt to turn their season around.
The Saints are looking to capitalize on the season’s first win and coming off of their bye week they have to be feeling pretty good. Now that Moore is back in the mix Brees will have another downfield option, as he looks to extend his touchdown record. Brees set a new touchdown record during week five when he completed his first touchdown pass of the game. Brees has now thrown at least one touchdown in a record 48 consecutive games.
Moore will be looking to help Brees extend his record and he is more than capable. Moore will be fresh and ready to go and I would expect him to have a very big bounce back game in Tampa Bay.
