Panthers vs. Cowboys NFL Week 7 Preview
The Dallas Cowboys are coming to Charlotte on Sunday to try and keep the Carolina Panthers on a losing streak. The Cowboys played a decent game against the Baltimore Ravens in the previous week in a 2 point loss.
The Cowboys QB Tony Romo is playing in an erratic manner again this year. You never know which Romo will show up to play. He throws interceptions at the most inopportune times, leaving his team a lurch.
Their offense is moving the ball up and down the field, but turnovers, penalties, and just plain bad plain is killing them. The really good plays are overshadowed by all of the mishaps.
They have a very good receiving corps led by WR Dez Bryant and WR Miles Austin. TE Jason Witten’s play is always solid every game. Witten makes a lot of plays each game.
The offense of the Panthers also makes plays and they score points and move the ball, but little things are killing them. RB DeAngelo Williams and RB Jonathan Stewart are great runners, and they can run by you or run over you.
The Panthers are without their C Ryan Kalil whose play was solid until he injured his foot.
Defensively LB’s Jon Beason and Luke Kuechly are the keys to the Panthers defense. If these two guys play well along with the rest of the defense the Panthers stand a great chance of winning.
The biggest thing for the Panthers is to put together a complete game, offensively, defensively and on Special Teams. QB Cam Newton has to cut down on his mental lapses and give the offense a boost.
The Cowboys have to also have a complete game from the whole team, and especially QB Tony Romo. This should be a great game on both sides. Maybe both teams can get themselves on track and we will all get to see a great game.
