NFL Week 7: Tennessee Titans look for third win in Buffalo
The team arrived in Buffalo yesterday afternoon and they are hungry for another win. They need to turn something around if they still want a shot at the playoffs. Ruston Webster was speaking with the press yesterday also about the Tennessee Titans strategy for today’s game.
The biggest factor, that the general manager pointed out, especially in Buffalo, is always the weather. It’s windy, it’s rainy and it’s cold. There is going to be a lot of pressure on the Titans offensive line, as the Buffalo Bills defense knows how to make plays. According to Webster, it’s nice to have a veteran quarterback playing in a game like today’s considering the team and the weather conditions.
He also touched on a few things that sound repetitive but the Titans need to do two things, play better on the road and build off of their win against the Pittsburg Steelers. It means everything to Tennessee’s season right now to get another win and both of these aspects can be accomplished if they execute correctly against the Bills today.
The Titans injury list is fortunately getting smaller. They only players inactive for today are Jake Locker, Colin McCathry, Javon Ringer, Tommie Campbell, Byron Stingily, Deuce Lutui, and Lavelle Hawkins.
For the Bills kicker John Potter, guard Kraig Urbik, linebacker Kirk Morrison, quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, safety Delano Howell , tackle Cordy Glenn and defensive end Mark Anderson.
Kick off for today’s game is set for noon central time as the Titans took to start a snowball effect and get some more tallies in the ‘win’ column.
