Justin Tuck Doesn't Sweat Jerry Jones, Invites Him to "Put on Jersey"

Back in training camp, Dallas Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones was giving somewhat of a pep talk to fans who had come out to watch his team practice. He invited the fans to “come out and watch us kick the Giants’ asses,” referring to the matchup that is about to happen this weekend in Cowboys Stadium.

It was an interesting thing to say considering the New York Giants had beaten the Cowboys twice last year and have yet to lose a game in the new Cowboys stadium, appropriately dubbed “Jerry World.” Well so far it has been Eli Manning World because the Giants are 3-0 in the stadium, and could very easily go 4-0 this weekend against a banged up Cowboys team.

But Justin Tuck isn’t sweatin’ Jones, who brushed off the comments when asked about them on a conference call with Dallas media.

“I don’t play Jerry. If he wants to put on a jersey and line up, I’ll welcome that. But I don’t think Jerry is going to be doing any kicking of my posterior.”

The Giants did not take these comments seriously when they were reported, but they should take the Cowboys seriously after the beat down they served them in Week 1. The Cowboys dominated the Giants, albeit a beat up version of them. The Giants were missing several players in the secondary and had more go down in that game, paving the way for Kevin Olgetree to have a big game.

This will be a different game as corners Prince Amukamara and Jayron Hosley are back, plus the Cowboys are going to be without Sean Lee and DeMarco Murray. Lee is out for the season and Murray will miss the game with a foot injury.

Still, it should be classic game between two hated rivals, and I can’t wait to watch it.
