Mario Williams Has Surgery On Wrist

Williams, Mario 4

Timothy T. Ludwig-US PRESSWIRE

Buffalo Bills starting left end Mario Williams had a procedure today to alleviate discomfort in his well documented injury to his wrist said head coach Chan Gailey. The good news is Mario isn’t scheduled to miss anytime and should report back to practice next week before he takes on his former team in the Houston Texans.

I am not too worried about this procedure if it’s about week long recovery. I really hope it’s not too serious that causes a lingering problem for the rest of his career, I’m just glad it isn’t a lower body injury since at worst Mario Williams can wear a club for a week or two and play though the injury if need be.

I am still optimistic about this this season, when a lot of people aren’t and I’m okay with that. With that being said, if we continue to lose, which might happen since I wasn’t that high on the Tennessee Titans in the beginning of the season nor am I now still.

If we continue our losing ways this season, I’m going to suggest strongly that team-wide changes might be in order to revamp this storied franchise’s product and I don’t only mean coaches, front office, heck what’s really needed is a new young vibrant owner whom loves the city of Buffalo and everything about it good or bad.
