After barely beating the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Oakland Raiders are raising not only eyebrows, but the question whether or not are they are worst team in the NFL.

The Raiders were losing to the Jaguars big, until Blaine Gabbert was taken out of the game. Chad Henne blew the game for the Jaguars, but the Raiders were giving the game away up until the Gabbert injury. This is a huge red flag for the Raiders, the Jaguars were ranked dead last on some of the power rankings around the web, and the Raiders were turning the ball over and committing dumb penalties to help the Jaguars.

What is wrong with the Raiders?

Forget what is wrong, to save breath, one can say the front seven on the defense was the one bright spot on Sunday for the Raiders. The fact of the matter is that the Raiders are a bad team. Yes, a win is a win, but they need to figure out what the problem is, and fast. They are flirting with disaster, if they play the way they did Sunday against any other team, they will not win another game. The Jaguars are as easy as they come.

Are the Raiders the worst team in the league?

Of course not, they won. They have the potential to be more than bad, they could be awful if they don’t pull it together, because the Kansas City Chiefs are a better team than the Jaguars. Not naming specific points they have to work on, the Raiders need to improve everywhere, because a loss next week could put them at the bottom of the NFL food chain.
