Well the list this week is a lot longer than it has been recently, but the Tennessee Titans still expect to prevail over their division rivals this coming Sunday. The injury report as of this afternoon is as follows.

Players that have already been officially ruled out for the game against the Indianapolis Colts include; linebacker Patrick Bailey (Hand/Ribs), quarterback Jake Locker (Shoulder), running back Javon Ringer (Knee), and tackle Michael Roos (Abdomen).

Mike Otto, who has been injured this year also, will start in place of Roos. The loss of Ringer is not a surprise for the Titans, but it is a disadvantage. When he is not injured, he is very explosive on the field.

For players that are ruled with the status of questionable or probable, the team usually does not state whether or not they will play until the morning of the game. Questionable players for week eight include defensive back Tommie Campbell (Ankle), and Will Witherspoon (Hamstring). Up until this afternoon, linebacker Colin McCarthy was also on the injury report listed as questionable. After today’s practice he is a go for Sunday.

Which is a good thing for the Titans because having both McCarthy and Witherspoon out of the game will be very tough for Tennessee’s defense. There will be a lot of pressure at the linebacker position, mainly because these two have been the main intimidation so far this season.

Safety Jordan Babineaux (Wrist), running back Chris Johnson (Ankle) and tight end Craig Stevens (concussion) are all listed as probable.

The Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts kick off week 8 on Sunday October 28 at Noon CT at LP Field.
