According to many sources in the Nashville area, there are counterfeit tickets that are starting to emerge in the area and the Tennessee Titans box office is urging fans to take caution from buying tickets that are not directly associated with the teams that are playing.
The first case that the box office found was a particular fan that bought two full priced tickets that looked to be branded by Ticketmaster. She paid $125 each and decided, just for the heck of it, to validate the authenticity at the ticket office. Come to find out that they were fake.
The tickets for this game are in high demand as the Titans will host the Chicago Bears on Sunday November 4 for the ninth week of the 2012 NFL Season. I will be down in Nashville during this weekend for the Titans Football 101 course in efforts to help support Breast Cancer Awareness.
As a resident of the Chicagoland area, and an avid Titans follower, what better football game to watch then the Bears and the Titans? In efforts to find tickets the last few weeks, as regularly priced single game tickets usually start at $35. For the week nine game the tickets that are left currently sit roughly at $191 for third level tickets, that is, to assure the tickets are in fact authentic.
The only way to ensure that the tickets, according to the ticket office when I talked to them on Thursday, is to buy them direct from the Titans website (www.titansonline.com) where you can purchase tickets from the season ticket holders as the ticket office is completely sold out.
