Rex Ryan is at the End of His Rope

Ryan, Rex 1

I think this photo is fitting for New York Jets head coach, Rex Ryan because it seems like the Jets are in a tailspin after getting blown out today 30-9  and falling to 3-5 on the year after taking on the Miami Dolphins at home today. Year after year, Rex has promised Super Bowl runs, and did make the AFC Championship games the first two years of his coaching career, but kept up Jets history by not making the playoffs last season, as the Jets have never made the playoffs in three straight years in the franchise’s history.

I think it would be very fitting if the Jets front office let Rex go after the year. Especially now that it seems the fan base has turned on quarterback Mark Sanchez and they want Tim Tebow, which isn’t good for the Jets going forward. If they do remove Rex, I do think they should go after someone who can help develop a quarterback, maybe even current offensive coordinator Tony Soprano for one name. Or if they want to stay defensive happy, I am incredibly high on current defensive coordinator Mike Pettine Jr. He’s an intense individual, not to mention, his father is a legendary high school head coach in the state of Pennsylvania. But that is just my take; what do you all think!?

Once again thanks for reading one of my articles, and I heavily encourage discussion leave a comment on here or hit me up on twitter @TheProfessorSD if you want to talk about this or anything football related! Have a great day!
