Last week was a really rough week for fans of the Buffalo Bills. Not only losing to the Tennessee Titans 35-34 at home to fall to 3-4 on the season where so many people expected a playoff surge this year, but to lose a player for a long time in reserve right guard Chad Rinehart (pictured above).
However, the news isn’t all gloom and doom in Buffalo, at least on the injury front. Left tackle Cordy Glenn (pictured below)and right guard Kraig Urbik (pictured even further below #60) are expected back for next weeks’ game versus the Houston Texans in Reliant Stadium after both went down with high ankle sprains versus the New England Patriots.
Kraig has been excellent in all aspects of blocking and when healthy he helps comprise one of the best interior lines with Eric Wood and Andy Levitre in the NFL today. As for Cordy, he is incredibly light on his feet for his massive (6′ 6″ 345 lbs.) frame, and if he can bounce back to how he started the year, he could wind up being the steal of the 2012 NFL Draft. I’d even consider Cordy for the Offensive Rookie of Year in the AFC at least.Let’s see if these two guys coming back can light a fire under our offense and maybe even give confidence to our defense to win a few more ball games.
