Two Stadiums in Two Weeks with Verizon Wireless

I’ve been selected along with other bloggers by Verizon Wireless to participate in a promotion that allows me to use a Motorola DROID RAZR M on their 4G LTE Network. The past two weekends, I took in games in New York and Chicago. All of the photos used in this piece were taken with the phone’s camera.

MetLife Stadium/New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins

The weather was beautiful and the game was even more exciting. These two storied rivals battled it out on a beautiful fall day just outside the big apple. While the Giants found some last-minute heroics to win the game on a 77-yard pass from Eli Manning to Victor Cruz, the Redskins and their young quarterback RG3 almost stole the show.

My seats for this game were high, but the view was great. Being a former coach, I enjoy sitting up higher because I can watch plays develop and watch certain key match-ups. I really enjoyed the experience and the Giants fans were quite friendly.

Soldier Field: Carolina Panthers vs. Chicago Bea

Being a Bears fan and being from Chicago, I’ve been to my fair share of Bears games. This game was way too thrilling for my tastes. While the Bears found a way to get it done on a last-second field goal by Robbie Gould, it almost was a disaster on Chicago’s lakefront for the Bears

I’ve been going to games with my father for many many years. It is always fun to spend an afternoon watching our favorite sport and team together. While the weather in New York was warm, the same cannot be said for Chicago. It was cold. A typical fall day in the Windy City.

It also gave me the chance to use my Motorola DROID RAZR M around two large crowds. Being a fantasy football junkie, I like to keep up with my teams. Plus I love throwing my two-cents on Twitter during the game. Service wasn’t an issue in either venue. Considering my biggest complaints with other wireless providers is coverage, so being able to seamlessly use my device is great. If you’re a sports fan that regularly attends games, I would strongly recommend Verizon Wireless. Coming from a guy that currently has the two other major carriers as well, you”ll be pleasantly surprised by its coverage.

“Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Midwest Fans program and have been provided with a wireless device and five months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.”
