Demaryius Thomas’ Idea To Dress Up As Replacement Referee For Halloween, Right Or Wrong?

Jake Roth – US Presswire

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas has not forgotten that Monday Night Football game when his Broncos faced the Atlanta Falcons in primetime. The Broncos suffered a 27-21 loss on a night when the replacement referees where just not very good to put it politely.

The crew blew two obvious spots, messed up a fumble call, missed several penalties and lost complete control of the game as coaching staffs for both teams went nuts, apoplectic at all the in-game delays.

@DemaryiusT

Yes, we are all upset that we had to deal with the replacement refs for a few weeks and no, I do not think Thomas is in the wrong for having a little fun on Halloween, but for a little while he had the photo on the right placed on his Twitter account before he took it off moments later.

I know we are free to express ourselves however we want in America, but what Thomas has to keep in mind is that he is a professional and we shouldn’t display our feelings towards our employers in a public way.

So in a business sense I am going to say that no, Thomas should not have posted this picture on Twitter, not even for the short time that he did.

I do, however, think that it was an awesome idea for him to dress as a replacement ref and have some innocent fun with some friends.
