The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded troublemaker cornerback Aqib Talib and a seventh round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft to the New England Patriots for a fourth round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

My thoughts on this deal as a Buffalo Bills fan are this; Talib gives them a big (6′ 1″ 205 lbs.) physical player that has the potential to be a shut down cornerback and who can match up well against bigger possession wide receivers. The reason why I don’t like this deal is because he’s about the same size as Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson. That could possibly not be good for Buffalo in two weeks, as that will be likely when he makes his debut  for the Patriots and Stevie is the main receiving threat for the Bills.

People will ask, why would Coach Bill Belichick pick up a player like this? Simply he has done it in the past and had amazing returns on investment even if it was a short term prospect, check out what Randy Moss did for them the year they went 18-1 and the Patriots only gave up a fourth round pick as well for him.
