After a week off, the Public Enemy #1 returns with a vengeance as this week it’s Houston Texans defensive end, J.J. Watt. He is nothing short of spectacular, a former tight end who is the prototypical 3-4 defensive end in every aspect, not to mention currently leads the NFL in sacks with nine and a half.

J.J. is extremely humble since coming into the league last year and an extremely nice guy, so despite this historically bad connotation, I usually give it to guys I respect on opposing teams. I can’t say anything negative about J.J, he’s everything I’d like in a player. The 6′ 6″ 295 lb. Watt was selected 11th overall in last years draft and with his 37 inch vertical leap, running a 4.81 40 yard dash time and scoring a 31 on the Wonderlic test he has being causing migraines for quarterbacks and offensive coordinators every game this year. J.J. Watt seemingly has the non-stop motor in everything he does that every team’s coaches and front office covets.

I was reading somewhere that if the season ended today that he would win the NFL MVP award even ahead of Atlanta Falcons quaterback Matt Ryan. I see their logic, however the season is still young, there is either eight or nine weeks to go and not to mention right now Matt Ryan is leading an undefeated team. But this is just my take, what do you think?
