It’s a rivalry week between these two teams that have been struggling all year. It is a must win for both teams. The Miami Dolphins currently sit at 4-4 while the Tennessee Titans are desperately trying to turn their season around.

As of yesterday the only inactive players for the Titans were linebacker Xavier Adibi and safety Al Afalva. This morning the team has also added newly signed guard Kyle DeVan and tackle Byron Stingily. Joining them on the sidelines will be defensive tackle DeJohn Harris and receiver Lavelle Hawkins. Rookie quarterback Rusty Smith is listed as inactive also for the first time since Jake Locker went down. So you can be sure the team is going with a Locker start and Matt Hasselbeck as back up.

I’m not sure yet just how long they will leave Locker in. I don’t know if they will let him see a good part of the second half. They still want to take precautions with that shoulder. You can bet that Hasselbeck will still see some snaps despite giving the start to Locker.

As for the Dolphins side of things, quarterback Pat Devlin, safety Anderson Russell, and tight ends Jerod Mastrud and Michael Egnew will all sit out. Also among inactive players will be receiver Rishard Matthews and tackle Will Yeatman.

Adjust your fantasy teams accordingly football fans. With slim injuries on both sides of the line of scrimmage it’s going to be an interesting battle todays between these two teams. Kickoff is at noon central standard time.
