This weekend’s game between the Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints has a chance to consist of very ugly defensive performances.

The Saints’ defense is bad. They have given up the most total yards in the entire NFL. They give up an average of about 469 yards per game, and average about 28 points given up per game.

The Raiders are not too much better, although their rushing defense is not too terrible, they give up way to many points. They give up an average of about 32 points per game, and have given up a total of 284 points so far this season.

Both Drew Brees and Carson Palmer have a chance to rack up some huge stats this Sunday. The one problem for the Raiders, the fact that they will potentially give up too many points to even contend against the Saints. The Raiders need this win as badly as the Saints, but it will be interesting to see the banged up Raider team try to stop Brees’ offense. This game may look like a college basketball game on the scoreboard when it is over.

Why do the Raiders not stand a chance?

Stand…that is the keyword. There is barely anyone left standing for the Raiders, they have had such bad luck with injuries this season, that they have gone from an average team to one of the worst in the league. They lack the ability to do just about everything, and the thing that is a shame is that they are finally learning how to score just when their injury list is overflowing with names.

Game Prediction: Saints beat the Raiders 41-28.
