Sunday Stats (Thursday Edition) Dolphins at Bills

Kevin Hoffman-US PRESSWIRE

Gameday! It is that time of the week. Here is our Sunday Stats (special Thursday edition) for the Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills.

In the past 22 meetings these teams have split the games 11-11. In the 24 games since Dan Marino retired the Dolphins are 13-11 vs the Bills. Miami has won the last 2 games at Buffalo.

For each team this is their only prime-time exposure in 2012.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is 2-2 in his career vs the Dolphins. In 2012 he has 9 TDs and 5 INTs at home with a QB rating of 98.5.

Ryan Tannehill has just 2 TDs on the road and has thrown 5 INTs. His QB rating is 75.7. His 4 highest passing yards games have all come on the road.

Only 7 QBs have more TD passes than Fitz. A whopping 32 QBs have more TDs than Tannehill.

Reggie Bush averages 100 rush yards per game vs the Bills. His team is 3-0 in his career vs Buffalo.

C.J. Spiller averages just 7 carries for 29 yards in his career vs Miami.

Kyle Williams and Mario Williams have combined for 9 sacks (they lead the Bills). Cameron Wake has 8.5 sacks and in his career vs Buffalo he has 4.5 sacks. The ‘Phins have just 2 sacks in their past 2 games, but the Bills are yielding much more sacks in November than in the previous 2 months combined.

Neither kicker has missed an extra point this season. Rian Lindell has yet to attempt a FG outside of 50 yards (he is 2-2 from 40-49 yards).

The Bills are bottom 5 for throwing INTs. The last time Miami played a team ranked so low was week 5 vs the Cincinnati Bengals. In that game they picked off Andy Dalton twice, but in the 4 games that have followed Miami has just 1 INT (yikes).

Each team has lost multiple games in a row. The Dolphins are currently the #8 seed in the AFC, while the Bills are #13.
