NFL Week 12: Jake Locker vs Chad Henne
Since the Tennessee Titans had the week off, you would like to think they may have spent some time on Sunday watching other games in the NFL. Maybe they watched for the sake of liking football that much or to watch and critique teams. Some athletes don’t like to watch games when they are on break, but you have to wonder if any Titan players were watching the division game between the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars this past Sunday.
The fact that the Jaguars are next on the Titans list is all of a sudden a more threatening game. The Titans will see Jacksonville two more times before the end of the year. And for Jacksonville’s ability to keep up with Houston, Tennessee might not have two easy games like they thought they would.
Now mind you, you ask any athlete they won’t come out and say ‘Oh we knew this was going to be an easy game.’ But if you go out and play like that, the game won’t turn out as you expected.
Think about the quarterback situation for both teams now. Jake Locker is back and healthy for the Titans and it was released today that Chad Henne will be the starting quarterback for Jacksonville replacing Blaine Gabbert. This past weekend against the Texans Henne went 16-for-33 with 354 yards and had four touchdowns.
Even though the Jaguars were not able to pull off the win against Houston, it sure did scare some people. Maybe not Houston, but the rest of the division should be afraid. This of course would bring the Titans up first with two games to play against each other.
